I still remember every detail of that morning – April 29, 2022. It started like any other day, logging into my work laptop at 7:30 AM, ready for another routine day at my "home" office. Then everything changed.
My wife's voice from the bathroom, calm but certain: "It's time." Two simple words that sent my heart racing and my mind spinning. I remember staring at my laptop screen for a moment, fingers hovering over the keyboard as I typed what must have been the shortest message ever to my manager. The drive to the hospital is etched in my memory like a vivid dream.
